Meet
Larry Harris
Larry started his cooking career as a young adult in various restaurants prior to going to university and pursuing a business career. Fast forward a few decades, and his passion for baking earned him a spot as a contestant on The Great Canadian Baking Show (Season 4) and the title of Star Baker for Bread Week.
Larry has enjoyed baking for as long as he can remember, but really began to tackle the craft in earnest after a honeymoon trip to Paris. For nearly thirty years, he used his time in the kitchen as a creative outlet from his day job, making loaves of bread and goodies for his family, friends and coworkers.
Larry has now taken his passion and turned it into a thriving micro bakery, Bonne Vie Bakery, specializing in artisan sourdough breads and other baked goods.
