In collaboration with Finisterra Travel of Vancouver, BC, Get Cooking is pleased to introduce Overseas Culinary Tours to some of our favourite and tastiest food and travel destinations.

Kathryn is delighted to have this opportunity to combine her culinary training and experience with her love of travel as a culinary guide for Finisterra Travel. In this role, she’ll infuse tours with her knowledge of and passion for the culinary traditions of the world. Together with Kathryn, you’ll dig deeply into these traditions to discover the flavour and terroir of each place we visit, exploring both the traditions and the future of food as it influences culture.


Her passion for travel and adventure led founder Keri Montgomery to create Finisterra Travel in 2012, then in 2015 she welcomed partner Nicola Wilson, travel enthusiast extraordinaire, on-board.

Together Keri and Nicola love to create tailor-made experiences to the further-flung corners of the globe. Their trips are deliberate cocktails of varied and unique ingredients, carefully proportioned, and flavoured to your taste. Itineraries are handcrafted by their travel experts to best showcase some of their favourite destinations around Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
