Ale Stewed Beef with Parsnips & Stilton Dumplings. With Kathryn & Elyse

Get Cooking

It’s Stir Up Sunday, which means if you’re British you’re in the kitchen making Christmas Pudding (check our schedule, we are!). We’re also making Mincemeat. And in between we’ve added another British classic, our Beef stewed in Ale, with Parsnips and Stilton Dumplings. We’ll be starting our stew at 2:30, then coming back to it at 5 to add the dumplings and again at 5:45 to finish it with some buttered Savoy Cabbage. You can cook along with us for your Sunday dinner, or simply watch, and take notes. And if you don’t like the stilton? That’s okay, just leave it out!
