Virtual Cheese Making Class: Halloumi & Ricotta

Get Cooking

Join our cheese expert Aditya Raghavan, owner and cheese maker at Fleur Jaune Cheese, for this new virtual cheese-making class on how to make and cook Halloumi as well as a fresh Ricotta from Halloumi whey. A semi-hard unripened cheese that originated in Cyprus, Halloumi is popular throughout the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond. Its high melt point makes it ideal for grilling and frying. Together with Addie you will learn how to make your own Halloumi, as well as how to make a seasonal Grilled Halloumi Salad. Addie will walk you through all the stages of preparing this delicious and unique cheese, as well as how to make Ricotta from the whey, then when you leave your class we will share a recording with you, so you can finish and cook your cheese at your leisure, with the recording for reference.

Class Fee: $40.00 plus GST (pricing is per device and allows multiple participants to attend using a single device).

Your Fee Includes: A 2 1/4 hour cooking class; a recipe pack including info on equipment needed; 7 day access to a recording of your class (you can extend your access to 30 days for an additional $5).
