A curried combination of Potatoes and Cauliflower, Aloo Gobi is a popular dish in the cuisines of both India and Pakistan, and a staple in Indian restaurants everywhere. Join Addie for this virtual cooking class to learn how to prepare his delicious version of Aloo Gobi together with his Dal Tadka, an invitingly fragrant dish of earthy Lentils finished with tempered spices. And to round out your online cooking class experience and exotically spiced vegetarian menu, Addie will teach you his Spiced Pulao Rice, as well as a Quick Pickle.
Class Fee: $40.00 plus GST (pricing is per device and allows multiple participants to attend using a single device).
Your Fee Includes: A 120 minute cooking class; a recipe pack including info on equipment needed; 7 day access to a recording of your class (you can extend your access to 30 days for an additional $5).
Upon purchase, your Zoom meeting link plus ID and password will be included in your Event Confirmation email – please be sure to save this information as you will need it to join your class.
Our recipes are distributed manually. If you sign up within 24 hours of your class time, you may not receive the recipe before the class starts. A summary of ingredients required follows:
Ingredients, Aloo Gobi: cauliflower, Yukon fold potatoes or fingerlings, ginger, green chilies, cumin seeds, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cilantro, oil.
Ingredients, Daal Tadka: red lentils, red onion, green chilies, garlic, cherry tomatoes, ghee, nigella seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cilantro and ginger to garnish.
Ingredients for Quick Carrot Pickle: carrots, oil, ginger, turmeric powder, fenugreek seeds, yellow or brown mustard seeds, Kashmiri red chili powder, lemon.
Ingredients for Spiced Pulao: green cardamoms, cloves, whole black peppercorns, bay leaf, ghee, basmati rice, stock (or use water).

We use Zoom for our online classes. If you aren’t already using Zoom you can download their free app for Windows, Mac, Android or Apple iOS here.
Once downloaded Zoom will help you set up your free account then you’re ready to join us. Zoom will prompt you and ask for permission to use your devices, camera and audio, please accept the requests. Once logged in click “Join” from the home page and enter your Meeting ID and Password, which will be sent to you in your Event Confirmation.
