For our first Farm to Table collaboration with Chatsworth Farm we’ll be focused on Eggs. We’ll be preparing three eggy dishes during this Virtual Cooking Class, as well as traveling to Chatsworth Farm in Vermilion Alberta, virtually, to meet the chickens, ducks and geese whose eggs we’ll be cooking. Kathryn will be using Duck Eggs to prepare a decadent Chocolate Mousse and Goose Eggs for her Spanish Tortilla, an egg and potato omelette best served at room temperature or cold. Both dishes will be perfect for your evening supper. Then Addie will step in to teach a classic Eggs Benedict with Farm Fresh Chicken Eggs served on his homemade Biscuits together with Bacon, and a Hollandaise Sauce. Your Eggs Benedict will be ready to serve for your Sunday lunch as the class ends. We’ll be using locally produced bacon from Meuwly’s in Edmonton, and if you’re in the Edmonton area you can order your eggs here for delivery from Chatsworth Farm on Saturday May 1st. But if you’re further afield, join in anyway! You can prepare all of our recipes with Chicken Eggs, and your favourite local bacon. We hope that you’ll join us for this online cooking class celebrating Eggs, and Farm to Table cooking.
