Virtual Cooking Class: Savour Greece – Feta Stuffed Meatballs | Greek Salad

For the first in our Savour Greece series of virtual cooking classes this Winter 2021, we’ll be getting out our cast iron pans for our Lamb* Meatballs, stuffed with Feta Cheese. Join Kathryn for this online cooking class and you’ll also learn some knife skills as you prepare a Chopped Greek Salad to accompany. Then to finish your plate, we’ll add a classic Tzatziki Sauce too. *NOTE: you can substitute the lamb for goat or beef if you prefer.

Ingredients for Meatballs Stuffed with Feta: 450g ground meat (lamb, goat or beef), onion, garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cardamom, flat leaf parsley, lemon, feta cheese, cooking oil (grapeseed or canola).

Ingredients for Tzatziki: Greek yoghurt, cucumber, fresh dill, fresh mint leaves, garlic, lemon, extra virgin olive oil (optional).

Ingredients for Chopped Greek Salad*: cherry tomatoes (or use ripened vine tomatoes), cucumber, red onion, green bell pepper, dried oregano, fresh mint leaves (optional) or use fresh oregano, black Kalamata olives, feta cheese, red wine vinegar (or lemon juice), extra virgin olive oil.

Class Fee: $25.00 plus GST (pricing is per device and allows multiple participants to attend using a single device). Your Fee Includes: A 90 minute cooking class plus a recipe pack including info on equipment needed. Our recipes are distributed manually. If you sign up within 24 hours of your class time, you may not receive the recipe in advance. We will attach it in Zoom Chat at the start of your class. Please use the ingredient list above to shop for your class – if our ingredient list isn’t up yet, then the recipe is in the works and it’s coming very soon!

Software Requirement: We are using Zoom for our virtual classes. If you aren’t already using Zoom you can download their free app for Windows, Mac, Android or Apple iOS hereUpon purchase, your meeting ID and password will be included in your Event Confirmation email – please be sure to save this information as you will need it to join your class.

We use Zoom for our online classes. If you aren’t already using Zoom you can download their free app for Windows, Mac, Android or Apple iOS here.

Once downloaded Zoom will help you set up your free account then you’re ready to join us. Zoom will prompt you and ask for permission to use your devices camera and audio, please accept the requests. Once logged in click “Join” from the home page and enter your Meeting ID, which will be sent to you by email with your recipes.
