My husband and I attended the French cooking class for Coq au Vin and were extremely impressed! The recipe was delicious, Kathryn was fun and engaging throughout, and the set up was quite professional. We appreciated the multiple camera angles and the ability to ask questions and get quick answers from Kathryn and Addie. We will definitely be making this a regular date night!
We love Get Cooking! I’ve been to about 6 classes now, everyone has been amazing, and I’m going back for more. From French, to Spanish, to Japanese, we’ve loved them all. Not only do you get to enjoy amazing food, you get to learn how to make it, and go home with the recipes. Plus, you get to enjoy wine or cocktails while you’re there. We’ve met lots of interesting people, and Kathryn, who runs the school, is just lovely. You can sit back and watch, or get your hands dirty cooking (I think the more you get involved, the more fun it is, but some prefer to watch). I find myself going back to the recipes time and again, and our dinner guests are always suitably impressed. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Before covid-19 restrictions I took in-person cooking classes with a number of companies and at a number of sites. I hesitated using Zoom but my husband and I loved the class when we finally took it. We worked in our own kitchen and had a full meal when we were done. I appreciated getting the recipe and ingredient list in advance so I could be prepared. The sauerkraut making demo was a great extra. I’ll be booking more classes.
