Join MasterChef Canada alumna Mai Nguyen for an immersive culinary experience as you learn to make kimchi from scratch, mastering the traditional fermentation techniques and flavours that make this Korean staple so beloved. Plus, Mai will teach you how to transform your homemade kimchi into a selection of Korean favourites, including the comforting Kimchi-jjigae (stew), crispy and savoury Kimchijeon (pancakes), and flavourful Kimchi Fried Rice. As a special bonus, participants will take home a jar of their homemade kimchi, made during the class. This class is perfect for food enthusiasts looking to expand their culinary skills and dip their toes into the world of fermentation.

You'll master Hanoi's beloved Bun Cha, a delicious combination of grilled pork patties and pork belly slices paired with rice noodles, green papaya pickles, fresh herbs, and an aromatic dipping sauce, famously enjoyed together by Anthony Bourdain and Barack Obama. Additionally, learn to create Mai's signature Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi, a delightful Vietnamese sandwich featuring Mai's deliciously marinated and grilled chicken thighs. This hands-on class utilizes our barbecue for authentic grilling, ensuring you can bring the rich, smoky flavorus of Vietnamese cuisine to your table at home.
Embark on a culinary journey through Provence and the South of France with our Cordon Bleu-trained chef-owner Kathryn Joel. In our studio kitchen and summer patio, learn to master the grill as you create Provençal classics like Green Olive Tapenade on Crostini, Salade Niçoise with Ahi Tuna, Butterflied Grilled Leg of Lamb with Herbes de Provence, and Ratatouille combining fresh veggies and herbs sourced straight from the farmers' market.
