Join Kathryn Joel together with sommelier and wine educator Margaux Burgess for this special Chef's Table class exploring the flavours of Portugal on your plate, and in your glass. Kathryn will guide you through an evening of Portuguese fare and Margaux will talk you through a menu of Portuguese wines chosen to complement your meal. We'll start with Portugal's beloved Salt Cod Fritters served with a Piri Piri Sauce, followed by Arroz de Pato, another favourite combining Rice with Roasted Duck and Chouriço Sausage. Next we'll Pan Sear some Rib Eye Steaks and top them with Refogado for Bife à Cebolada (onion smothered steak). Then for dessert we'll be making Pasteis De Nata, aka Custard Tarts. Served at breakfast in Portugal, we're breaking the rules and enjoying them at dinner time instead!

Join Chef Owner Kathryn Joel for an evening of Italian home cooking, as you learn to make three classic dishes, each a satisfying meal in its own right. We'll begin with Crespelle Fiorentina, Italian crêpes filled with ricotta, spinach and pecorino, finished with a rich cream reduction and baked until golden. Next, you'll stir up a luscious Italian Sausage and Fennel Risotto, learning the technique that makes risotto so rewarding to get right. And to finish, we'll braise a sumptuous Pollo alla Cacciatora, chicken slow-cooked with pancetta, tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms and herbs in the classic Italian hunter's style.

Join Chilean-born Chef Jose Montan, Chef de Partie at Edmonton's acclaimed Olia Ristorante, for an evening of classic Argentinian cooking. Chef Jose will guide you through Empanadas Salteñas served with Chimichurri, a Tomato, Burrata & Basil Salad, and two versions of the Milanesa — the beloved Argentinian cutlet inspired by Italian immigrants who brought their cotoletta alla milanese to South America. You'll make a Chicken Milanesa with Prosciutto & Arugula and a Beef Milanesa with Gorgonzola, and Jose will also talk you through how to build a Milanesa sandwich, a street food staple across Argentina.
