Do you love bagels like we love bagels? This Valentine's day weekend you can indulge your love for bagels by learning to make your own, together with our bread baking expert Larry Harris. Larry will take you through how to make your dough in the first half hour, then we'll take a 60 minute coffee break before we reconvene to shape, proof, boil and bake our deliciously chewy home-made bagels. You'll also make an everything bagel topping to finish your freshly baked bagels. Plus we'll look at how to serve our bagels with Cured Salmon and Cream Cheese, made by Kathryn & Addie in their complimentary classes.

Ingredients Bagels: unbleached all-purpose flour (bread flour or all-purpose flour can be substituted), water, sugar, oil, instant dry yeast,diastatic malt powder, honey, kosher salt, barley malt syrup (optional), baking soda
Ingredients Toppings: Dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, poppy seeds, caraway seeds, flaked sea salt, caraway seeds

Join Kathryn Joel for her introduction to Filled Pastas and learn to make our egg yolk enriched fresh pasta dough, perfect for achieving light and delicate filled pastas. Then together we'll make two different filled pastas with sauces. We'll begin with an easy Ravioli, filled with Winter Squash and served with a Parsley & Walnut "Pesto" Sauce. Next we'll prepare Swiss Chard & Ricotta filled Tortelloni, served with a deliciously simple Brown Butter & Sage Sauce. We do hope that you'll join us for this tasty hands-on class.
