Join Chef Owner Kathryn Joel for an evening of savoury pie-making, where you’ll master the techniques behind three classic favourites. You’ll make pastry from scratch for a traditional Tourtière, Quebec’s beloved spiced meat pie, then explore the comforting layers of Britain's Shepherd’s Pie, featuring rich, flavourful lamb topped with creamy mashed potatoes. Finally, you’ll assemble a Chicken & Ham Pie, using buttery store-bought puff pastry to encase a creamy, savoury filling. This class is a mix of demonstration and hands-on cooking, culminating in a delicious meal featuring the pies you create, leaving you with the skills and confidence to recreate these hearty classics at home!

Join us for a delightful Mother's Day lunchtime cooking class led by chef owner Kathryn Joel. In this hands-on experience, you'll learn to make fresh Tagliatelle paired with a seasonal Asparagus Sauce, perfect for celebrating the flavours of spring. Next, you'll elevate your culinary skills as you learn to roast chicken to juicy perfection, with a zesty infusion of lemon and fragrant Tarragon, then serve it with a sumptuous pan sauce. Cap off the meal on a sweet note as you master how to prepare Grand Marnier Soufflés paired with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, ensuring a memorable and indulgent Mother's Day celebration.
Join Kathryn Joel in person for a taste of Italian Farmhouse cooking, and you'll experience a menu of simple but sophisticated Italian fare starting with Kathryn's Melted Leek Soup, served with Parmesan Croutons. For your main course you'll learn to tray bake and roast Chicken Thighs with Potatoes & Porcini, and serve them with Pan Seared Winter Greens. Then for dessert you'll learn to make Biscotti with dried fruits and nuts to serve with a refreshingly tangy Limoncello Ice Cream.
